ll love the Raystown Lake area. The Alligrippis Trails at Raystown Lake,
built by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, is a premier
30+ mile experience and considered one of the best trail systems in
the Eastern United States.

Raystown Lake has no privately owned lakefront property. In fact
the only development you'll see on Raystown Lake are two boat
anchorages, seven boat ramps and several campgrounds that
have leased land from the Army Corps of Engineers. With Raystown
Lake, the Corps has decided to retain ownership to the tops of the
surrounding mountains to control the watershed and protect the
quality of the water in Raystown Lake. The upside is that access
to Raystown Lake from surrounding homes and cabins is usually
only 5-15 minutes. And since there are no developments on
Raystown Lake, it always has the feel of being secluded and
retains its pristine natural beauty. If you're sick of crowds and
development sprawl, come to Raystown Lake and Huntingdon County!
